The leaves catalogued as an “unidentified spiritual treatise” are a Middle Dutch translation of the pseudo-Hugh of St Victor Expositio in Regulam S. Augustini.
Acknowledged: The holding library has replied that the identification is new to its records or plausible on a first look. That is not peer review. A preliminary reply. The curator finds the identification convincing at first sight and will check it further. Not a confirmation.
All four pages follow the Latin (PL 176, 900A–904C; chapters VI–VII) sentence by sentence. The translation itself is already registered in the Bibliotheca Neerlandica Manuscripta; what is new is the identification of these leaves.
